Children's Ministries -At St Clare’s we are very excited about our Montessori based Sunday school program called Godly Play. In Godly Play, we are helping children make meaning in their lives by giving them the language in the lessons of Jesus and then allowing time and space for them to respond in a deep way. When children answer the wondering questions or make a response with clay or crayons, they are integrating this Christian language into their lives. For this reason, the child’s work is viewed as a highly personal response to the language and to God.
Red Oak Ministry -Several times a year, members of St Clare's provide a warm and welcoming church service to the residents of Red Oak Retirement Community in North Bend.
Lay Leadership -Many parishioners are actively involved in our weekly worship service as ushers, acolytes, readers, and Eucharistic Ministers (assisting with Holy Communion).
Soup Kitchen - The Parishioners of St Clare's make and serve soup and sandwiches to hungry North Bend Soup Kitchen visitors. Fifty to seventy-five patrons are served on each visit.
Crop Walk - Annually we co-sponsor Crop Walk with the Snoqualmie United Methodist Church. One quarter of the monies raised stays in the local area as a donation to the North Bend Helping Hand Food Bank, with the balance going to Church World Service.
KING 5 weekly televised celebration of the Holy Eucharist -St Clare's is among many Episcopal and Evangelical Lutheran churches that participate in this broadcast that serves Northwestern Washington.
