Walk with us at the 16th annual Snoqualmie CROP Hunger Walk as we take steps to answer the challenges of food insecurity! Once again, 25 percent of funds raised will go to support the local food initiatives of the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank, and 75 percent will go to the sustainable food initiatives of Church World Service as it seeks to eradicate hunger around the world.
We will gather at Meadowbrook Farm Interpretive Center at 11:00 am for a lovely ecumenical worship service, then begin walking at 12:30 pm. After the 1-3 mile walk and our traditional hot dog picnic lunch we are excited to join with Mary Miller’s Heart of the Valley photo shoot at Centennial Field at 2:00 pm followed by post walk festivities including music, games, food trucks and a pot luck at Centennial Field.
