St. Clare's arose out of the people's desire and determination to worship and serve in the Snoqualmie Valley. In every year of its existence, involvement in the broader community has been a important aspect of the congregation's life together. Participation in the Snoqualmie Valley's Soup Kitchen began in 1987 and continues today.
After bouncing around in various locations for several years, St Clare's purchased a church building in downtown Snoqualmie situated on Railroad Avenue. Due to flooding and a subsequent power outage this building had to be abandoned and was subsequently demolished in 2008. The membership continues to meet and thrive in a newly renovated social hall that was adjacent to the old church building.
Today, St. Clare's continues with strong lay leadership, community involvement, and ambitious hopes for the future.
