What’s New at St Clare’s June 9th

Here are the Lectionary readings for this coming Sunday. This summer we have two choices for the lectionary and we will be following Tract 1. This tract allows us to hear consecutive stories from scripture over the weeks rather than hearing things that may perhaps be a bit more disjointed. If you are reading this week, you may want to have a look-see as there are a couple of interesting names! http://www.lectionarypage.net/YearC_RCL/Pentecost/CProp6_RCL.html

Our end of the year celebration of students & teachers will be this Sunday. We’ll celebrate accomplishments & transitions with applause, prayers of blessing and thanksgiving and a special coffee hour.

The Spring Work Party is scheduled for this Saturday June 11th from 10 – 2pm. Sue and I have made a list of things to do and we are catering to a broad group of people…young and old, skilled and non-skilled labor, heavy lifting (not much) and sit-down work. Please come by and help out – even if it’s only for an hour. Many hands will go through our list in a hurry. If people are around at noon, we’ll order pizza.

School Supplies for Fall. If you would like to help out by purchasing school supplies for kids in the Snoqualmie School district this fall, the supply list is attached. We will also collect money in the paint bucket throughout the summer. All proceeds will go to the program.
